Iron Maiden has announced a surprise addition to their North America tour schedule, with a Vancouver concert set for April 16, 2027, at Rogers Arena. The show is part of the third and final leg of the Run For Your Lives tour, which celebrates the band’s 50th anniversary.
According to bassist Steve Harris, the band initially planned to take a break from live performances in 2027 but decided to extend the tour after enjoying the previous legs in the USA and Canada. “We’ve been enjoying this last leg in the USA and Canada so much that we all had a chat and decided we should take the show to parts we missed, particularly the northwest and southeast,” Harris said in a statement.
Vancouver is the only Canadian date on the final tour schedule for April and May 2027. Tickets will be available through an artist presale beginning October 19 at 10 a.m. local time, with additional presales running throughout the week. Public ticket sales begin October 23 at 10 a.m. The concert start time has not yet been announced.
Bullet for My Valentine and The Raven Age will serve as special guests on the tour. The band notes this marks the first time since 1983 that Iron Maiden has selected an all-British three-band bill. “This return to their roots suits this final celebration of their early years and their 50th Anniversary,” the band stated.
By the end of the Run For Your Lives Tour, Iron Maiden will have played 107 shows across 36 countries for more than three million fans. According to band manager Rod Smallwood, this represents the highest number of people per show in the band’s five-decade history. Smallwood highlighted the band’s sustained popularity despite limited mainstream radio support, attributing their success to dedicated fans and word-of-mouth promotion.
