JetKVM Mini is a compact, affordable remote management device designed to provide keyboard, mouse, and video control over computers. Announced for October 26, 2026 release, the device comes in two models: a wired Ethernet version at $39 and a wireless variant at $42. Bulk pricing reduces costs to $33 and $36 per unit respectively when purchased in three-packs.
The device measures 42 × 42 × 23 mm—roughly matchbox-sized—with an aluminum enclosure. According to JetKVM’s announcement, the hardware uses an ESP32-P4X microcontroller with an integrated H.264 video encoder. The wired JetKVM Mini connects via RJ45 Ethernet, while the JetKVM Mini W includes 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi and Bluetooth LE for wireless setup. Both models capture video at 1080p at 30 frames per second or 720p at 60 fps, with support for up to 4K through JetKVM OS Services.
The device features two USB ports: one connects to the target computer at USB 2.0 High Speed (480 Mbps) to provide keyboard, mouse, and virtual media control, while the second general-purpose port runs at USB 2.0 Full Speed (12 Mbps) for extensions or backup power. A microSD card slot allows users to load ISO files for virtual media mounting. The Mini draws power from the target computer via the primary USB connection.
Software features include a web-based interface accessible through a browser after entering the device’s IP address. According to the announcement, the firmware will be open-source from release. The Mini supports remote access via JetKVM Cloud, Wake-on-LAN, MQTT, Home Assistant integration, OIDC login, and over-the-air updates with automatic rollback. JetKVM OS Services, launching in the coming weeks, adds 4K screen capture, shared clipboard, guest terminal, and file transfer capabilities when installed on the target machine.
Security includes secure boot capability, with the option to lock the device to JetKVM-signed firmware via an eFuse setting in the web interface. The wireless model adds IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax support and IEEE 802.15.4 for Zigbee and Thread protocols.
The device will be available through authorized resellers starting October 26, 2026.
