Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner recently recalled an incident from years past when they discovered ex-husband Lamar Odom in a hotel room during a period when he was struggling with substance abuse.
According to an episode of the family’s reality show The Kardashians, Kardashian and Jenner decided to intervene after learning about Odom’s situation. “[Khloe] realised that her significant other at the time, Lamar, was smoking crack,” Jenner began the account. “We had intel that he was going to be at a certain hotel.”
Jenner explained that they had information Odom had “hookers” in the hotel room, prompting them to develop a plan to “extract” him from the space. “We were in the hotel going down the hallways, and Khloe’s security burst into this room,” Jenner recounted.
Kardashian described discovering Odom “literally having a circle jerk” with approximately 20 other people present. She said she “just lunged and started swinging” at those in the room. “She just beat everyone up,” Jenner added.
Kardashian, who was married to Odom for seven years before their 2016 divorce, characterized the incident as “the most crazy thing” she and her mother have done together. She later reflected on the experience, stating it was the reason she “will never date a freak again” and joked about adding conditions to her dating preferences, including “no circle jerks [and] no orgies.”
Odom has since been open about his recovery journey, which began in his teenage years. According to the source material, Odom revealed in April that he is “completely sober” and not drinking alcohol after being arrested for a DUI in January.
Following her separation from Odom, Kardashian went on to date basketball player Tristan Thompson, though the pair split in 2021.
