Sling TV has launched a new NIL campaign featuring nine college football players, according to reporting from Yahoo Sports. SMU quarterback Kevin Jennings, University of Miami quarterback Darian Mensah, and University of South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers are among the athletes selected for the deal.

The campaign will roll out over the college football season, with content from the players being featured on social media to promote Sling TV’s flexible passes for watching games. “Our athlete partners show what it means to approach the game on their own terms,” said Seth Van Sickel, Sling TV’s senior vice president of video and streaming services. “With this campaign, we’re letting fans know that Sling is focused on providing flexibility and affordability to follow the action all season long.”
Beyond the three quarterbacks mentioned, the NIL deal also includes Virginia quarterback Beau Pribula, BYU quarterback Bear Bachmeier, Kentucky quarterback Kenny Michey, Tennessee quarterback Faizon Brandon, and Oklahoma defenders Peyton and Eli Bowen.
For Jennings, the Sling TV partnership represents the latest endorsement deal following a standout college career. According to the article, he led SMU to a College Football Playoff appearance in 2024 and the school’s first bowl win in over a decade in 2025. The deal comes shortly after Jennings also signed a Nike athlete agreement over the summer.
“It was something that’s something I dreamed about at a young age,” Jennings said regarding the Nike partnership. “Everybody had the KDs, LeBron’s, and even Chris Ronaldo’s. [My own shoe] would be a blessing for sure.”
Jennings attended the Manning Passing Academy in late June, where he trained alongside other quarterbacks selected for both the Sling TV and Nike campaigns. He credited the fraternity of quarterbacks with helping him improve, noting that peers like University of Washington’s Demond Williams Jr. and Maryland’s Malik Washington offered tips during drills.
SMU’s quarterback will begin his season on Labor Day in a primetime matchup against Florida State in Tallahassee.
